A few details so everyone can focus on celebrating.
Is there parking at the venue? No parking is available onsite. The ceremony and reception will take place on private property with limited access. Guests will be transported to and from the venue by shuttle.
Where do the shuttles depart from? Shuttles will depart from Chicken Ranch Casino Resort and return guests there at the end of the evening. A detailed shuttle schedule will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.
What time should guests arrive? The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM. Shuttles will transport guests to the property between 4:15 PM and 4:45 PM.
Can guests take photos during the wedding? The ceremony will be unplugged, and we kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras tucked away. In addition, the couple’s wedding will be featured in upcoming publications. Out of respect for this process, guests may not photograph or post images of the bride at any point during the wedding day. If we notice phones photographing the bride, our team may kindly ask that devices be put away. We truly appreciate everyone helping preserve this moment for the couple.
Is the pool gathering at the hotel open to all guests? Yes. A casual recovery ritual by the pool will take place at Chicken Ranch Casino Resort the day after the wedding. Timing details to come.
Will the ceremony and reception be outside? Yes. The celebration will take place outdoors on the property. Evenings in the foothills can cool down, so a light layer is recommended.
Can guests wear white? No white, please. Out of respect for the bride, we kindly ask guests to avoid white and anything that falls into the same family, including ivory, cream, champagne, or off white. And yes, this includes the classic “it’s cream with flowers.” Let’s keep that color reserved for the bride.
What airport should we fly into? San Jose (SJC) — about 2 hours 15 minutes to Sonora San Francisco (SFO) — about 2 hours 30 minutes to Sonora
Are children invited? While we love the little ones in your lives, this will be an adults only celebration. If your child was specifically included in your invitation, of course they are warmly welcomed. Otherwise, we kindly ask that guests make this a weekend to slip away and celebrate with us.
